This is how it looked in Marquette, where they had the 7th snowiest March day ever. 20.8” of snow fell on Wed. March 5 at the National Weather Service in Marquette. Other snowfall totals: 20” at Mt. Avron and Harvey, 18” at Herman, 15.2” at Ironwood and 13.5” at Houghton.
Above is a list of season snowfall totals BEFORE the latest storm. Seven locations in Upper Michigan have already topped 200” of snowfall for this winter season. Last year, the highest season total in Michigan was 173”. Gaylord (NWS site) has already set a season snowfall record this season. Much of this snow has been lake-effect.
The previous storm brought very strong winds to the state of Wyoming. A 120-mph gust was measured on a mountaintop in northwest Wyoming, one of the strongest wins ever measured in that state.
